15-Week Online Theory Course

All Seven CPL Subjects. One Structured Program

Begin your Commercial Pilot License (CPL) journey with a program built for working pilots.

Our next 15-Week CPL Theory Course starts 1 February 2026 and is designed for both aeroplane and helicopter students who want structure, flexibility, and results.

Delivered 100 % online, this course provides comprehensive, instructor-led training across all seven CASA-mandated CPL theory subjects — with live after-hours sessions so you can keep flying or working during the day.

You’ll receive over $1,200 worth of included printed and digital resources, giving you everything you need to study and succeed without buying additional materials.

Fully aligned with Schedule 3 of Part 61 MOS, every lesson directly matches what’s assessed in the CASA exams, ensuring your study time translates into real exam readiness and long-term understanding.

Limited-Time Offer:
Enrol before October 31 and pay only $2,800 with our early bird discount (save $500 off the full $3,300 fee).

Course Structure & Delivery

Total Duration: 15 weeks

This course is designed for working pilots and students who need structure without sacrificing their day-to-day flying or job commitments. It’s 100% online — meaning there’s no travel, relocation, or time off work required.

Subject Breakdown:

  • Each CPL subject is completed over two weeks
  • Operations, Performance & Planning runs over three weeks
  • Around 10 hours of live instruction per week, delivered across three interactive online sessions

Weekly Schedule:

  • Live sessions held on Sundays and two weeknights each week
  • No classes on Friday or Saturday nights, so you can maintain your normal work, flying or social schedule
  • Aeroplane and helicopter students join discipline-specific sessions on alternating weeknights when content diverges

Friday Night Drop-In Q&A (Optional):
Join our optional support session before each Saturday exam for last-minute questions, revision, and exam tips — perfect for staying confident and prepared.

What Sets Aviation Theory Australia's 15-Week Online Course Apart

Our CPL Theory Course isn’t just another online program — it’s built around three core principles that put real pilots first.

1. Exceptional Value Without Compromise

We believe world-class pilot training shouldn’t come with hidden costs or inflated prices. Your enrolment includes everything you need to succeed — over $1,200 in printed and digital resources, and self-paced courses.

Competitive pricing makes it even more affordable, giving you complete access and support for a fraction of what other theory schools charge.

2. Total Convenience and Flexibility

No travel. No time off work. No missed flying days.

All classes are delivered live online after hours, allowing you to study from anywhere in Australia — whether you’re at home, on base, or between flights. It’s structured learning designed around your schedule, not the other way around.

3. Seamless, Modern Learning Technology

We use the same learning platforms trusted by companies like Google and Amazon, giving you intuitive, self-paced study access 24/7.

Live sessions run through Microsoft Teams, creating a seamless connection between structured teaching, digital resources, and real-time instructor support — all in one place.

Twice-Yearly Intake – Limited Availability

We only run this structured CPL Theory Course twice per year:
➡ February Intake
➡ July Intake

Spaces are limited to ensure quality instruction and individual support. Don’t miss your chance to enroll in the upcoming February course.

Book before October 31 to secure your place at the early bird price of $2,800.

What You Get - Over $1200 in included resources

Every student receives a complete suite of printed and digital resources valued at over $1,200, bundled with full online access and instructor-led support.
